The replacement of members is not the first since infighting in the startup since last year after ICO. The Founders stepped down as a member in support for Tezos foundation.
Tezos has new members on its Tezos Foundation board. Ryan Jesperson and Michel Mauny will replace Johann Gevers and Diego Olivier Fernandez Pons who stepped down.
The two will join Lars Haussmann appointed at the end of January this year. Ryan Jesperson will be the new president of the board to replace former president and founder Johann Gevers.
Tezos said in the announcement that the appointment would assist in in the timely launch of the Tezos network.
Infighting and delays in product launch
Problems began in Tezos soon after the July ICO in which it raised $232 million. Breitmans (Kathleen and Arthur Breitman), who heads the foundation and control code ownership fought for control with Gevers.
Breitmans later announced that the rollout expected in February 2018 should not be scheduled as Tezos was still in the alpha stage. This caused a drop-in futures price by 75 percent.
The infighting in Tezos also forced out another member, Guido Schmitz-Krummacher, in December. The appointment of Lars Haussmann means he replaced him as the third member.
Additionally, the infighting has already caused delays in Tezos including awarding contributors of their tokens. Moreover, the Tezos community demanded a removal of Gevers last year to build confidence in the Foundation.
The startup is also facing lawsuits including allegations of violating the U.S. securities laws and fraud by SEC.
